I am so excited about this, this is the first Barn Sale that Tara from http://www.junkrestore.com/ has put on and it was a HUGE success!! She had the cutest setting: a huge yard with a cute red barn in the back. Quite picturesque if you ask me. She had the cutest stuff and her prices were fantastic! She had several vendors, including me! Make sure to check out her blog and anticipate the next Barn Sale in November. I suggest you make plans for this one, and come early! It just going to get bigger folks!
Cant wait to see everyone next time!! If you had a chance to come to the Barn Sale, tell us what you thought!

Barn Sale Furniture
Trash OR Treasure?
Is it illegal to take something beautiful out of someones garbage? Or is it illegal to throw it away in the first place?
Let me know what you think!
I saw this sticking out of someones garbage on the curb, naturally I stopped. I did try to get someone at the door but to no avail. It doesnt look bad in the before pic, however what you dont see is how wet it is and what it smells like. I wasnt even going to try to figure out what was making it wet, I mean it WAS in the garbage, but I couldnt just let this go to the dump! I think I saved its life. It feels good to be a Hero!

Our bedroom...finally!
I have had my bed in every place possible trying to decide where I liked it. We moved from a house where my 4 post bed looked amazing because of our tall ceilings, and here in this room...well we dont have tall ceilings anymore. So I played constantly with the rails, putting them on and taking them off. The conclusion is off, it looks more open with them off in such a small space. Everything else turned out great!

Trying something new...
I finally finished my new chairs and I LOVE them! I wanted so bad to use them so I changed out our dining room. I had a huge chunky table in here before, you can kind of see it in behind the chairs and heavy darl leather parson chairs. Now I have replaced it with a smaller round WHITE breakfast table. It looked a little too open, so I grabbed this black table I had in the living room and put it next to it. I also put a small bench at the end for some extra seating.(Click on the pics to enlarge)
What do you think?
I think it needs a rug!

ReCreations in Utah
Everytime I go to Utah I always stop by one of my favorite stores, ReCreations. Owned by Donna and Krista. These ladies have done a fantastic job in taking everyday ugly things and transforming them into amazing pieces for every home! It reminds me a lot, (and makes me miss) my store I had in Utah too. Traditions Consignment Co. ohh, how sad! Anyways... those were the days! I wish I could get back into it, but Sedona doesnt seem to have the same passion for "junk" as I do! Time for a move??
Heres some great pics from Re-Creations!
Great job ladies!
